I liked the setting of the hotel.. set in lovely grounds
I didn't like my room. I did book a single room but didn't expect it to be quite so small. The bed was just inside the door and there was alot of noise from the corridors. Some family members were staying in the hotel also and the double rooms were far superior
The falls nearby, the donkeys and good space, good price when breakfast included
Staff didn't point out that pool closed to kids after 7 and before 9am, even though we asked about it with kids standing there, bit remote so not much to do with the kids in the evening. Decor is quite ugly.
Great location, very central for investigating local attractions. Staff very pleasent and helpful. Beautiful and modern main areas in hotel.
Bedrooms needed redecorating. Didn't like paying for towels at swimming pool
Nice bar, restaurant areas and function room
Older rooms are really old and mustn't have been changed since the 1980's
Very special riverside location. Enjoyable walks into town or out to woodlands. Family enjoyed lovely Spa swimming pool as well as seaside just short drive away. Lahinch beach is great and be sure to check out Joe's Cafe for lunch!
The friendliness of the staff, the relaxing atmosphere and the spacious room..
The breakfast menu was bit limited for a non meat eater. There were no hash browns or veggie sausages on offer. When I asked about hash browns, first I was told there were none and then later I was told there were, but I would have to wait a further ten muinutes. But at that stage it was too late for me ro order them.
Food very good in Thia rest
I found it good value for me. They weren't there to rip you off. Athough a wedding was booked for the same night, you wouldn't even know they were there. There was plenty of room in the bar with live entertainment.
I wasn't unsatisfied with anything. It was very good overall.
Central location for touring the area.
Too many steps at the entrance for older people!
Beautiful view of waterfalls and Irish country side. Relaxing outdoor hottub, sauna, steam room. Nice indoor poor and jacuzzi also. Two nice restaurants and great bar. You need to have a car to stay here.
Rooms were big and staff were pleasant.
We got one of the rooms that had not been refurbished and there were even stains on the lampshades and chair covers. The people in the next room sounded as if they were in the room with us as we could hear them so clearly. The hair-dryer looked like it should have been thrown out 20years ago and of course did not work. I thought the price was crazy for what we were being offered. It felt like we were staying in Fawlty Towers not the Falls Hotel!! We were booked in for 2 nights but could only stick it for one so we left!!
The friendliness of the hotel staff.
we only used the swimming pool once as there was no supervison on any of the children using the pool, they were on each others shoulders, landing on the people trying to have a swim. teenages in jacuzzi with their mobile phones.
Excellent menu was available at all times in this Hotel. People of all ages were staying there. To me it seemed to be a family run hotel.
I have stayed there before and liked it, good food and Staff
Certain parts of the hotel ( on the way down to the leisure centre) were very dated and smelt of damp.
